Elena Miroglio Plus-Size Clothing Designer Fashion Show Outside Of Milan Fashion Week – Elena Miroglio runs a plus sized label that has been kicked off of the Milan Fashion Week every year for the last five years. Now, the presentation was left off of the official program, leading to complaints from many who were interested in attending the presentation.

The head of the Nation Chamber of Italian Fashion said that the label was not in line with the other presentations in the event and that the show was looking for a certain level of seamlessness from one show to another.

However, Elena Miroglio’s show was packed to capacity when they hit the stage, leading some to criticize the organization, saying that they were discriminating against the plug sized labels.

Miroglio is known for being incredibly innovative with fashion and it is surprising that she cannot find acceptance for her plus sized line. Of course, plus sized models have had a hard time breaking into the industry since the industry first started, but her exclusion from the Milan Fashion Week year in and year out is a disservice to the industry that should be addressed by the officials in charge.

“Every kind of woman should be represented on the catwalk,” Miroglio said. She also went on to say that larger women like to dress like everyone else, too.
