Emma Watson Haircut : New Emma Watson Short Hair Pics – Emma Watson, who is most famous for playing the character Hermione on “Harry Potter,” recently chopped off all of her hair. It is a bold move for the young actress who previously said that she would like to take a step back away from acting after starring in seven (8 if you count the fact that Deathly Hallows will be two features long) Harry Potter films, and focus on her education. She certainly looks very different, and some fans were surprised to see that she decided to cut all of her hair off.
She last appeared in May, looking dazzling at the 2010 Met Ball.
Now, it appears that she has made some drastic changes to her appearance. She posted a photo onto her Facebook, saying below it that she loved it and that she has wanted to do it for years. Her acting roles likely held her back from being able to do it.
“Dear all. Cut my hair off a few days ago… Feels incredible. I love it. I’ve wanted to do this for years and years; it’s the most liberating thing ever. Hope you like. Big love from Emma x,” she said on her account.
It certainly is liberating, and it does look pretty good once you get used to the new look. Now that she is all done with the filming for the last Harry Potter films, she is free to do whatever she wants with her image and with her hair!

Anyone who doesn’t like it obviously doesn’t understand her reasoning. She couldn’t experiment with her hair for the past 10 years, because Hermione’s hair is long and brown. Emma is 20 years old and can finally try something new. Plus, it’s hair and it WILL grow back. I love this short look on her! She’s not the first to do it and she certainly won’t be the last.
