Kate Middleton Blue Engagement Dress Sold Out – Because of the fashion choices by Kate Middleton, there has been a full on frenzy when it comes to the outfit she wore when announcing her and Prince William’s engagement. Those who saw the blue Issa London dress are now flocking to the shops to get one for themselves.
It sold out within 24 hours after Middleton was seen wearing it and the retailer is Harvey Nichols which has been experiencing an unusually high volume of shoppers.
Averyl Oates who is the buying director for Harvey Nichols commented that ever since Middleton’s appearance with Prince William, they have had an unprecedented number of requests for the Issa.
The dress itself costs well over $600 and sold out within hours and it’s no surprise considering who was seen wearing it.
This fashion frenzy is a throwback to the days of Princess Diana where all the women in London wanted to look just like her.
This isn’t the first time that Middleton has sent women flying off to the shops because of what she wore though. In 2007 he she was seen with a semi-affordable dress on from the “Topshop”, and that too sold out in a matter of hours after she was seen wearing it in public.
